The Third Cascade Hydropower Station of Niduhe River locates in the lower reach of Niduhe River in Xishelu Village, Chuxiong City, Yunnan Province. The proposed project is a run-of-river hydropower project, with the installed capacity of 14MW. It is estimated that the annual electricity generation will be 68GWh. After the construction is completed, the equivalent electricity generated by China Southern Power Grid which is dominated by fossil fuel power plants will be effectively displaced. Therefore, GHG will be reduced and the annual CO2 emission reduction will reach 52,928tCO2e.
